AUDIO STUDIOS
Studio-1
The studio 1 has the most advanced sound technology called C 24/HD Digi Design 003. It is just the only machine available in West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand. The studio has been redone in the month of April 2009. Lot of efforts has been put to do the acoustics properly. The control room is fully sound proofed now. There are 10 new microphones. A Rode AT condenser microphone and two SM81 condenser microphones from Shure gives the studio three good condenser microphones. On the dynamic side, we have SM 57 and 58 and a special microphone for the bass called SM52A Beta. All the microphones have been imported.
The hardware C 24 is operated by Apple Mac Pro with 4GB RAM. The software used is Pro Tools 8.0 with TDM & RTAS plug-ins. The studio is a professional one and the recording is of quality. We have three sound engineers for this studio. These sound engineers are musicians too.
Studio-2
The studio-2 uses Steinberg Neundo with M-audio hardware. The training of students in Digital Audio Production is done here apart from small job works. It has the facilities of microphones and other facilities. The acoustics has been redone recently in July 2009. Mr. Sudeep Bhengra is in-charge of the studio.
