FAMILY COUNSELING CENTRE
Established under the scheme of Central Social Welfare Board the family Counselling Centre works for restoration of happy family relations, particularly between the husband and wife, in the entire district of Hooghly through counseling and negotiation. Two competent and qualified counselor work for the purpose and has succeeded in settling hundreds of disputes through conciliation.
HEALTH UNIT
We have 4 clinics in four different villages in the district of Hooghly. The name of centers are at Nabagram, Naity, Gobra and Jangalpara. All centers are run smoothly and carefully by our efficient & dedicated MBBS doctors with the help of our social workers.
LIBRARY SERVICES
There is a rich collection of books in the Satya Bharati Library. It caters to the need of book lovers among the members, workers and Boarders of Satya Bharati.
COMMUNITY HALL
A Community Hall ‘ANANDA NIR’ is established at the new campus to arrange seminars, Cultural programmes, Training Programmes, Awareness Camps and many other activities. Our organisatios run with the ‘Gandhian concept, and with that in view we have established a ‘GANDHI GHAR’ where the inmates of Old Age Home sit and relax.
SHRI RAMAKRISHNA TEMPLE
A Temple dedicated in the name of Shri Rama Krishna has been established at the new campus of Satya Bharati for mental peace and solace of the inmates of Satya Bharati. Special Pujas are organized on the birth days of Shri Ramakrishna, Vivekananda and Maa Saradamoni each year.
YOUTH ACTIVITY:
World is going to be the abode of adolescent and it’s our responsibility to lead them in right direction and let them live more lively. Adolescents are the most important and sensitive group of the organisation and special measures have been taken to mobilize and involve them in the organizational activities and build their character to become good citizen of the country. In the socialization process, moral upgradation is an urgent need. Our programme facilitates this process through various group activities, meetings, trainings, cultural events, sports etc. So far we have formed 55 youth groups in the project area irrespective of boys and girls.
ECO-FRIEND CLUB:
The youth of the organization has established an ‘Eco-Friend Club’ to promote environmental awareness organizing programmes Awreness Camps, Rally on 5 th June (as world environment Day), Door to Door campaign, Seedlings Plantation, Eco-friendly Durgotsov, Quiz Contest and Environment Fare.
YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
It is true the Youths are the back bones of our society and in our programmes they generate new ideas and ideals, now a days most of the planning are coming from them to keep pace with the changing community. They realized that they have some duties for their parents and society. So they have come forward to shoulder the responsibilities. The youth group members of our project have been involving themselves in rendering service for environmental sensitization during last eight years. They have arranged Awareness Camps on Pollution, Rally on different types of pollution, Eco Friendly Durgotsov and seedling Plantation. The camps were arranged in different areas viz Naity, Chikrand, Kanaipur, Bansai, Gobra and Jangalpara in Hooghly District. An Exhibition on sensitization program against environment pollution was organized recently at Kanaipur Gram Panchayet Area where the attended it with galemood.
